Learn To Play Hockey Fall 2017


 Welcome to the Learn To Play Hockey Fall 2017 Registration with Rhinelander Ice Association!

The Rhinelander Ice Association will host a “Learn to Play Hockey” session for the upcoming season.

Cost is $20 and includes all necessary equipment.

Practices are Monday and Wednesday from 5:20-6:00 PM Beginning on October 23, and ending on November 8. (6 total sessions on-ice)

All equipmentis available for rent and included in the registration price.

The focus of this program is to develop basic hockey skills including skating, passing, puck handling, turning, stopping and shooting. Children learn through participating in practice drills and informal modified games under the direction of Rhinelander Ice Association volunteers. This program is open to boys and girls ages 4–10 years old. The RIA will provide necessary equipment at no additional charge. Upon completion of this program, participants will have the option to enroll in the RIA youth hockey programs. This program is only open to those who are new to hockey. Basic skating ability is a plus but not required.

Equipment handout and orientation will be Monday October 23 at 4:45PM at the Rhinelander Ice Arena.
